英国电信将于2018年10月推出5G试用网络
6月6日消息,据国外媒体报道,英国电信EE宣布计划今年10月份在英国推出首个5G试用网络。昨天EE表示,5G试用网络将于
今年10月在伦敦科技城开启,其测试速度为2.8Gbps。据悉,伦敦科技城中心周围的10个站点(包括5家小企业和5家家庭)将使用
原型5G设备演示下一代技术,该试验将证明:即使在人口密度最高的城市环境中5G也能实现高速移动数据连接。
目前,EE表示计划通过社交媒体寻找首批5G试用者。因此,EE将成为第一家推出商用5G的英国运营商,该公司上个月宣称它
将在2019年推出5G服务,从而击败其竞争对手。
