To develop the digital economy in Thailand, Thailand will
prioritize four development strategies:
1. Our human capital strategy seeks to meet industry's
rising needs for digital specialists. Develop 500,000 workers
with digital skills.
2. This underscores the need to accelerate the
transformation of our traditional businesses into digital
enterprises to increase productivity, reduce costs, increase
agility, improve product and service quality, expand the
market, and develop new products, services, and business
models. Make a transition to smart farms, smart factories, and
high-value services. Create a robust digital sector in Thailand
and speed the growth of digital startups to achieve full digital
transformation of the economy.
3. Promote smart cities by using cutting-edge, data-
driven technology and innovation to optimize city services
and management, cut costs, and make better use of scarce
resources
4. In the next phase, the government will make digital
infrastructure, digital access, and utilization widespread across
all industries.
