DSM introduces High Efficiency DeSolite®
Coatings for optical fiber

introduction of High Efficiency DeSolite®
Coatings for optical fiber at the International
Wire and Coating Symposium (IWCS). This
new coating system in the DeSolite® portfolio
provides enhanced processing robustness
with excellent on-fiber performance and
durability.
High Efficiency DeSolite® Coatings were
designed to enhance fiber processing capabilities
by providing low volatility for large preform
draws and are capable of running at fast line
speeds for both wet-on-dry and wet-on-wet
processing. Fibers produced with this system
