5.Conclusions
This paper can be concluded by comparing the test results
of three design schemes A, B and C: In the design process
of the Flame-retardant air-blowing optical cable , the outer
diameter of the cable is smaller, the outer diameter of the
core is smaller, the loose tube PBT material and the gel
are obtained, The corresponding reduction in the amount
of use will reduce the overall amount of smoke emitted
by the cable and increase the light transmittance of the
cable; The greater the outer wall thickness of the cable,
Fig.4.CPR large-scale combustion test device the better the flame retardant performance of the cable.
However, the increase in the thickness of the outer wall of
the cable leads to an increase in cable weight, a decrease
in the overall toughness of the cable, and a decrease in
air blowing performance. Under the outer diameter of the
same cable, increase the size of the reinforcement, which
can appropriately mention the toughness of the cable
and optimize the air blowing performance of the cable;
Therefore, it is very important to rationally design the
structure of the optical cable, so that the optical cable can
meet the corresponding CPR classification standard and
meet the air blowing distance requirements of different
laying scenarios.
