编委会、编辑部的全体同仁，感谢广大读者和业内同仁在过去的一年中对我们工作的大力支
持！并向大家致以新春的问候和衷心的祝福！网络电信在新春之际与大家共迎新年、共忆佳绩、共瞻未来！祝愿各位
新春愉快、事业兴旺、鸿运连连、诸事大吉！
在我国通信业发展史上，2018年绝对可以留下浓墨重彩的一笔。2018年是改革开放40周年。同时，4G致密化，5G
即将商用，数据中心，产业互联数字化等因素积极推动了2018全球光通信市场的发展。其中，5G无疑是最有希望的市
场推动者，给社会经济带来直接和间接的经济效益。预计2019年全球5G移动基础设施市场为5000万美元，到2021年将
增长至23亿美元，5G用户终端的推出、5G预商用将是2019年的重头戏，5G给企业带来的机遇也让众多光通信企业翘首
以待。
在过去的一年中，网络电信携《“全球｜中国光通信最具竞争力企业10强竞争力报告”》持续参加了东南亚、欧
洲、北美、南美、中东、非洲等全球各地的国际性展会，影响力持续扩大。经过连续12年的海外参展及海外发行，全
球光通信产业通过第三方评价体系更加客观地认识了中国光通信企业的竞争力，竞争力评比结果已经在全球范围内为
业内同仁广泛认可。
2018年已是网络电信信息研究院从事全球|中国光通信企业竞争力评选的第十二年，该评选活动已成为采购招
标的重要参考，同时也是光通信行业审视自身发展的“体检表”。同时，“2018年中国光通信发展与竞争力论坛
（ODC’2018）”以“互联万物 5G 智享未来”为主题，邀请业内企业高层、专家发表学术性或专业性演讲、接受媒
体采访，并就这一主题进行深入交流与探讨，取得了圆满成功。
2019年，网络电信全媒体将通过中英文网站、电子周刊、移动终端版微杂志、微信、中文杂志、英文特刊、会议
论坛、国内外展会等众多平台持续不断地将行业竞争力客观凸显，帮助企业以更稳重的姿态走向国际舞台。
回眸2018风正劲足扬云帆，水击千里破浪行；展望2019共谱华章铸辉煌，直挂云帆济沧海。在充满希望的2019
年，愿我国通信行业各位同仁精诚团结，携手共进，抓住最佳发展机遇期，全面开创我国通信业互利互惠、合作共
赢、繁荣稳定的新篇章！

The prosperous times will walk into a new era, while telecommunications industry will turn to the new page. On the occasion of ringing out
the Old Year and ringing in the New Year, I, on behalf of all my colleagues in editorial committee and department of Network Telecom, would
like to express my gratitude to our readers and peers in this industry for their vigorous support for our work in the past year. At the same time,
Network Telecom all media platform wish you a happy New Year, a bright future, a booming business as well as good luck in everything!
In the history of the development of China's telecommunications industry, 2018, which marks the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up,
can definitely leave a heavy color. Meanwhile, factors such as 4G densification, 5G commerce, data centers, and the digitization of industrial
connectivity have contributed to the development of the global optical communications market. Undoubtedly, 5G is the most promising market
promoter, bringing direct and indirect economic benefits to the social economy. The global 5G mobile infrastructure market is expected to
grow from $50 million in 2019 to $2.3 billion by 2021. The introduction of 5G user terminal and 5G pre-commercial will be the highlight of
2019, and the opportunity brought by 5G will make many optical communication enterprises look forward to the new growth driver.
Over the past year, with the "Report on the Top 10 Most Competitive Global/Chinese Optical Communication Industries", the Network
Telecom all media platform continued to take part in the exhibitions held in the Southeast Asia, Europe, North America, South America,
Middle East, Africa and other regions in the world, exerting an increasing influence on this industry. After the participation in overseas
exhibits and circulations for twelve consecutive years, our magazine has helped global optical communication industries acquire more
objective knowledge about China’s competitiveness in this field and the comparative results of competitiveness contributed by the magazine
have gained wide recognition from the peers in the industry around the world.
2018 has been the 12th year of the evaluation of Top 10 competitiveness enterprises in the optical communications field of China & Global
market by the Network Telecom Information Research Institute, and this activity has become an important reference for procurement and
bidding as well as a "health form" for this industry to examine its self development. In the meantime, focusing on the theme of "Interconnecting
Everything, 5G Leads the Intelligence", the "2018 Forum for China’s Optical Communication Development and Competitiveness (ODC’s
2018)" invited top executives and experts in the industry to deliver academic or professional speeches and receive interviews by the media,
and exchanged views and deeply explored relevant issues centering on the theme, which has achieved complete success.
In 2019, Network Telecom all media will keep on its objective evaluation and presentation of the competitiveness in the optical communication
industries and help domestic enterprises to march confidently forward the international arena of this field, by means of multiple platforms,
including the Chinese and English websites, electronic weekly magazines, micro-magazines on mobile terminals, public Wechat account,
Chinese magazines, special issues of English version, meetings, forums, and exhibitions inside and outside of China.
Looking back 2018, wind is strong enough to hoist the sails, while water hammers thousands of miles; looking forward to 2019, the industry
will continuously move forward and cast brilliance. In the hopeful 2019, we wish that all our peers will work hand in hand to seize the
best development opportunity, and fully open a new chapter of mutual benefit, win-win cooperation, prosperity and stability in China's
telecommunications industry!
