Abstract
Based on the description of the wideband / broadband wireless and 3G evolution, as well as combined with the China's real situation, this paper mainly deals with the analysis and discussion on some sensitive issues and development strategy of 3G evolution. 一、引 言 目前,围绕NGN问题的辩论与讨论,首先推进与揭示了一系列以IP为基础的新一代网络的QoS性能改进及由现今TDM/SDH/ATM为主导的网络向新一代IP网络较平滑演进的务实途径;然而,NGN这一名词本身就令人费解,NGN到底应该如何进行明确有效的定义,其基本结构是什么,其阶段目标与长远目标是什么,它与众所周知的GII概念与目标是什么关系,它对积极推进中的新一代以IP为基础(甚至所谓全IP)的宽带无线接入、宽带移动通信、宽带无线Internet及移动IP有什么关系与影响,等等,均发人深思。 另一方面,处于2.5G、WLAN及3G+/4G夹缝中的3G处境艰难,并引起不少质疑。人们怀疑此3G市场到底何时能真正展开,规模多大,持续期多长,2.5G的演进期将会多长,它会否对3G的及时引入带来新的挑战;而且,速率增强型的宽带无线接入与cdma2000 1X EV-DO/DV和HSDPA/HSUPA均在积极谋划与推进,在速率含义上它们均已超越3G而步入3G+或4G,今后由2.5G持续运行到一定时期后再一步到位直跳至全IP的3G+或4G(2G+4G)会否显得更合适,等等。这一系列疑惑不解与含糊思路直接影响对NGN及3G的决策与发展。因此,如何分析与看待NGN问题、下一代宽带无线(NGBW)问题及3G的前景与宽带无线Internet/移动IP的发展,以及如何借助NGN解决低成本的网络前后向兼容务实演进、增加ARPU及纯利润率与有效的多业务增值等,这对NGN发展及迈向3G的2.5G→2.75G→3G→3G+→4G的演进策略及宽带无线的发展策略应如何思考及确定,已成为重要的研究课题。在此,即拟针对这一背景,结合中国国情,重点论述对3G演进的一些敏感问题及务实发展策略的几点个人看法,供分析参考。 |
